Anyone will tell you that the grocery business is extremely competitive. Frequently you will see competition enter a new area in an attempt to poach customers. GIANT is no stranger to this, and thus a multi-channel approach to retain customers is required when new competitors move in.

When a congested area is identified, our team is tasked with creating numerous materials to either retain or win back customers. By using tactics such as mailing campaigns, digital ads, local billboards, and targeted emails; we remind the customer that GIANT doesn't just have higher quality products, but the value they need as well.

 

Customer Mailers

Mailers are sent out in the targeted area, offering money off the total grocery purchase to bring the customer back in. There is also a general message reminding that GIANT has exactly what the customer needs at the right price.

Digital ad space is purchased to capture the customer and encourage them to shop online. A blis set encourages the customer to click through the ad space, and choose their local store to shop online.
