Frederick County 275 Anniversary Logo

275 is a big number. It’s even bigger when celebrating the anniversary of a county with as much history and culture as Frederick, MD. The county government needed a logo that both celebrated the past, but also looked towards the future. I created two unique concepts that I felt matched this historic need.

 

Logo Concept #1

For the first concept, I created a modern, adaptable logo that could usher in a new era for the county. As much a seal as it is a mark of quality, this concept is made to match the exciting and hip culture of modern Frederick.

 
 
 

Logo Concept #2

For the second concept, I created a bold and colorful seal that meshed the scenic country views with the bright and whimsical vibes of the city. This illustrated city is viewed through one of Frederick’s covered bridge, truly welcoming you into the county.

 

Ultimately, the country government went with another option, but were more than happy with every concept presented. I am more than proud to have had a hand in this event.
