Majestic Theater 2022–2024 Seasons

Lights, Camera, Action! The Majestic Theater is a historic theater in downtown Gettysburg dating back to the 1920’s. Known for being the heart of visual arts in Adams County, this renowned theater regularly puts on magical live shows and first-run films. As a cinephile and avid movie-goer, it was important to me to help bolster their celebrated brand with respect to the customers, entertainers and staff.

The 2023–2024 Season was the final season for the theater’s founding executive director, Jeffrey Gabel. To give him a royal sendoff, the theme was requested to represent royalty and luxary. I created a palette with numerous jewel tones and added an exquisite pattern to make the audience feel like a part of royalty.

The core design was carried through numerous materials such as the season brochure, posters, banners, advertisements, and the yearly playbill.

Season Playbill

The cornerstone of Majestic’s Season is the Playbill, a 64-page booklet detailing every great attraction coming to the local theater. With reference to this season’s theme, I created an elegant and regal design that will truly make you feel like royalty.

Majestic Theater 2022-2023 Season

For Majestic’s 2022–2023 live theater season, I was asked to create a design system that captured a flowing and magical motif. Live theater is an experience we can all get lost in, and through the use of flowing imagery and vibrant colors, I hope the audience can feel lost in these designs, as well.
